Don't want to name, names but I know of certain people who used to post regularly on this forum and no longer do so after everything that has happened in the last few weeks/months. I can't comment on the situation but I have an interest in Hornchurch because friends of mine support the club.

I didn't mean you Yellow, you are a welcome regular on this forum. I was talking about other people who always want to have a go...the type that tried kicking us when we were down in November.

 

Anyway, we've decided we don't care what they think so it's not important!

Really sad to see Gary Calder go. A real gent and one who had the best interests of Hornchurch and BTFC (when he was our manager) at best.

 

Yep, other supporters will have a go because of the in fighting. We (BTFC) were a victim of that a couple of seasons ago and all you you can do is get your heads down and support your club.

And of course GC was Urchins manager for a few matches last season, when George Borg left.

 

Interesting to note that Glen Southam cannot play against Stortford for Dagenham this coming Saturday, due to a clause in his contract which says that he cannot play against his old club.

 

Arlesey beat Dagenham last season - can Stortford do it this season?

From what I've read on this thread I'm glad I don't have regular access to the internet (Tiptree's only recently been introduced to the electric lightbulb, the World Wide Web's a complete mistery).

 

As far as I'm concerned, if it wasn't for the extra cash placed the clubs disposal, we wouldn't be where we are now and have the memories of cup runs or done so well in the league (though granted, not beating Billericay is still a tough one to bare). I, for one, am very greatful for that.

 

I have no idea what's happening behind close doors, all I want once the dust has settled is the friendly club I knew. I will continue to support the Urchins as I have done since I was 14, come what may and I hope the many hundreads of other supporters out there who have been to the games will join me in doing so.

 

Things are hard right now, which is why it's so very important we all stick together - fans and staff alike.
