Hx Update

This morning we met with Gary Calder to review the situation at the club. Following full and frank discussions regarding recent appointments to the board of HFC, Gary Calder has left the club by mutual consent. A new Chairman will be appointed in due course.

The Shareholders and Directors of HFC wish to thank Gary for his efforts and hard work throughout the past 15 months, especially the past 8 weeks, and wish him well for the future.

There is much work to do to resolve the current difficulties at the club and in that respect we ask please that staff, fans and officals pull together to assist in that goal.

Thank You

Karl Williams

This is just horrible.

Now, I don't know the goings ons behind the scenes at the club or the reasons for this that and the other but this has left a bitter taste in my mouth.

Gary and Mick, you guys have been absolute gems and I respect you so both so much for what you have done for HFC.

You will be a real credit to whichever club you go to next. Non-League needs guys like you.

You will be sadly missed.

All the best to the both of you.

Gary what more can I say than what has already been said the heartbeat has gone, Mick you were fantastic as well.

All you Urchins out there keep your chins up.

GARY CALDER was an absolute rock for this club and that will never ever be forgotten, I remember his reaction at Arlesey and I remember the speech he gave at Urchin Aid quite incredible that this is now lost, but Hornchurch loss will most definitely will be somebody elses gain.

GOOD LUCK HORNCHURCH.

Gutted, truly gutted, I cannot believe it...

Whilst GC was there I truly thought that there was light at the end of the tunnel, thing were starting to get back to normal and there was great atmosphere at the club...

We've all had to suffer the heart being ripped out of this club once, but twice is just too much...

Who knows, this might be for the best or 'for the good of the club' but to be truthful I can't see it...

Good luck to GC and ME, they done a terrific job for the club. Without them behind the scenes in the last few months who knows where we would be now? I'm sure they will never be forgotton by us fans and I am sure I'm not alone in saying I'm sad to see them go and think they'll be greatly missed...

Gary, if your reading this give me a call mate...what more can be said, you did a fantastic job you and your efforts will be sorely missed, not sure that many people realise how much you have done for the club.

Ditto this for Mick, the place will certainly not be the same without you.

Once again a big thank you
