MC ALLISTER RETURNS TO STEVENAGE

Recommended Posts

Craig McAllister who has been on loan with Gravesend & Northfleet for the last month has returned to Stevenage. The Fleet had hoped to extend the striker's loan period but plans have now changed as he requires treatment for a foot injury. Craig scored two goals for the Fleet during his time with the club.

I think you mean Islam, just like Alan W did. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Injured at the moment, as far as I know.

As for McAllister, he did score a couple, and to my eyes, looked no worse than what we have at the moment up front. I'm not saying he was looking like setting the Conference alight, but he would still be a useful player to have as another option - after all, with our chronic player shortage for Saturday's game, we know the problems of having a small squad.

Of course, if Andy can find someone better, they'll be no need to try to call him back.

Spent far too much time injured.

Abbey is what we need right now, a penalty box striker, he is another sorry example of how the neanderthals in the crowd can drive a player away and shatter their confidence, for further examples see Darren Smith Paul Booth and Nick Hegley.
