Our fa cup money

Talking totally theoretically though, could it not happen as follows:

Company A continues to fund club and accumulate debts as before

Company B remains 'in the black' i.e. has a positive bank balance through transfer of funds from another source? Possibly company A?

Company B is the one 'running' the club yet 'separate' to Company A?

I'm beginning to confuse myself now... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

It would be very difficult for FRUS which seems to have no assets apart from STFC to sell off the club and keep the debt - indeed there is something strange going on as how are the players being paid etc unless it is from somewhere else? Who is the season ticket money paid to for example - I paid by cheque and it was not to the Club or FRUS. The problem is that none of us have a clue what is really going on and how the club is functioning, and until we do, anything we want to do to help the club is just p*ssing in the wind.

I am very grateful to him for keeping the club alive, but is Mr Deaner still involved or not? If not what happens next? What are the views of the other directors, Bernard and Jonathan Freese and what is their role in this?

How can any of us get a straight answer to any of these questions?

The clock is ticking away and unless we do , the leader of the council has nothing to do other than bide his time and issue unhelpful letters as quoted on another thread.

It really is time we woke up otherwise however well the club does on the field, I can see yet another "will they? won't they reappear?" summer ahead.

I think confrontation time with the club is approaching......Whilst we continue to support the team and don't ask the difficult questions, nothing will change!

I'm hoping that Martyn will be able to call a meeting very shortly to announce what he's been up to recently as he's been conspicuous by his absence at recent matches including the 'big' FA Cup games.

Would be good to get an action plan together that all the supporters could help with and give us some targets to work toward if nothing else. We've got 18 months left at Windsor at the moment (presuming we pay them the rent for the final 12 month stint) and we must try and plan ahead. Running the club day by day is only going to destroy it.

C'mon Martyn, for all the begrudging respect I have for you, don't let us down. Let us know what's going on and what we can do to secure the long term future of this once proud club.

As far as I am aware the the FRUS debt is owed to a MR M Deaner! As long as he writes the cheques to FRUS, STFC continues. When he stops..... someone else has to find £150K per season.

It's not the nicest of positions really. (Cue sexual innuendo joke). But, as others have said, he's paid up and kept us going so far. Even though I'm not a fan of the way things are being done, we're still here and have something to fight for at the moment....

More importantly, if FRUS still own the club, should someone decide to buy the club then they will have to find at least £650K to pay back Mr Deaner as this is an ongoing liability of the business. Never mind that they may have to then find the money to complete the actual takeover.
