It isn't looking good for them. Expect the worst.

A little update from Karl (Uncle Urchin)

"This morning we met with Gary Calder to review the situation at the club. Following full and frank discussions regarding recent appointments to the board of HFC, Gary Calder has left the club by mutual consent. A new Chairman will be appointed in due course.

The Shareholders and Directors of HFC wish to thank Gary for his efforts and hard work throughout the past 15 months, especially the past 8 weeks, and wish him well for the future.

There is much work to do to resolve the current difficulties at the club and in that respect we ask please that staff, fans and officals pull together to assist in that goal."

Thank You

Karl Williams

It's all kicking off on the HX forum. Youth team manager has resigned and I wouldn't be surprised if Gary Hill will be the next to go. The atmosphere at the club stinks and their forum for the last two weeks or so has been full of rumours, squabbling and general insults. Not pretty at all and I can understand why some regular posters on that forum have not been on recently.

Maybe, but no other non-league team will be able to pay the kind of cash he earns so depends if he fancies another crack at sucess or is happy to pick up the cash. If he stays and picks up the occasional win and keeps them afloat and in the division and works out his contrcat he'll get a nice reputation as a loyal manager as well.

Well, I don't believe for one minute that Garry Hill needs the money anyway. I've heard that his company has made him a millionaire - whether that's true or not I don't know.

But ultimately, any football manager will want a bit of job satisfaction - he won't get that at Hornchurch now, I'd respectfully suggest.

If he really has been paid up front, he'll be able to just walk out, and I think Hornchurch would struggle to recover the cash. He'd have a very strong case for them not honouring his contract, I would think.

If he hasn't been paid up front, then it's unlikely they'll be able to honour his contract anyway, if he really was getting the kind of money being mentioned. No new owner would pay that kind of cash.

He'll go.
