If no good news comes out of wednesdays meeting then Demo goes ahead as planned at 4-30 till 7-30 p.m. Cabinet meet at 5-30.p.m. so we may catch them as they are going in or they may even be in there already in which case we might strike it lucky on their departure .We may not even see them at all.

Please,For everyone concerned,including myself but most importantly the club, lets not have any trouble on the night. To help ,if any-one sees another person trying to step out of line or looking as though they may be starting to get out hand please step in and mention to them that this will be a show of strength demo and trouble of any sort will not be tolerated.

Police are aware of this demo and will be keeping a watchful eye on proceedings and may even have camera footage to fall back on, if needed. Please,all be aware of these points.

I am not saying you cant SING, VOICE YOUR VIEWS and MAKE SOME NOISE.(if the police dont like it they will soon tell us to calm down I'm sure).

Please, if you see any of the councillors, by all means tell them we want to get back to Hartsdown etc etc but please do not abuse them verbally, as much as it hurts me to say it.

No-one knows how many will turn up, could be 30 or could be 300, who knows, but this has to be a civilised show against the council for blocking the clubs progress and also for the state of the area as a whole.

We really want to get our message acrosss so lets do that but no swearing or abusive language please as members of the public will be looking on also and we want them on our side.

Enjoy the night, let people and the council know we are still as one, united, and still behind the club. Lets show them we are determined and passionate about our club and its own determination in getting a go ahead from the council.

I HAVE to have 4 or 5 or even 6 stewards as directed so if any-one out there wants to steward please let me know. It will, hopefully just be for control. Together with this it must also be said that we must not obstruct members of the public.

I predict that Wednesday's meeting will end with some kind of hopeful and positive statement from the council. But this will be merely designed to take the impetus out of the protest. Everyone should turn up on Thursday, no matter what happens on Wednesday.

Well said cookie, but i think we should meet thursday whatever, i agree that they might just make it look encouraging to stop us, but theres no harm in meeting up and singing songs. I also want to say a BIG thank you as well to you for organising all of this, its about time something was done. Two things that have fallen on deaf ears. Songs.... and most importantly a drink afterwards. I think it would be good to get us all in a pub somewhere in town.

The funders are flying down from Scotland to meet the council and try to get this sorted out,this is what I have heard.
