I'm always uncomfortable with that expression. It's like people who say "oh, we're off on a romantic weekend to Paris". What a load of [****!!****]. Being 'romantic' is a mood, like being happy, sad, angry etc. How the fk do people know what kind of mood they'll be in??

 

Can't think of anything romantic about stuffing pasta down yer gob and the smell of candle wax in the air.
