Nice to see the big improvement in our discipline so far this season - only 5 sides have had fewer bookings than us.

 

ok - so we've still had 4 players sent off, but the last one was some time ago now, and all 4 were for 2 bookable offences, rather than straight red cards.

 

Considering our records in the last 2 seasons, this has to be good news.

I'll go along with that, Alan.

Fewer bookings/red cards means less suspensions, and a stronger squad for every game.

Also,as I have said it before, subconciously referees DO favour fair play sides over teams that have a bit of a "reputaion".

in this league of mainly full time teams we need all the help we can get.
