Saturday's Trophy game against Redditch is confirmed as off, while their GLS Cup midweek match next Tuesday looks set to bite the dust as well.

 

Let's hope it's all cleared up by the 12th of February.

The Redditch match has been moved to Workington on Sunday and the GLS Cup match has been postopned until February.

 

All water polo matches will be as previously scheduled.

The Leigh game on Saturday is now at Gretna, which is a possible venue for our game, I've heard.

 

Only 2,300 capacity normally (3,000 at present with temporary seating, owing to a cup-tie with Dundee United), so an all-ticket game seems likely if we play there. Best for those travelling up on February the 12th to keep a close eye on proceedings.

Barrow have now offered use of their ground for forthcoming fixtures too - this could potentially be a better option for Carlisle, as the capacity will be bigger.

How does Gretna meet Conference standards if capacity is under 4000 ??

 

According to todays Telegraph , Carlisle are targetting the FA Trophy game with Barnet on 5 Feb for a return to Brunton Park.

I see the problem, according to the Confguide forum, is the state of the electrics,and safety equipment at the ground, rather than the state of the pitch which has apparently stood up well.
