Credit to Non League Football

I would just like to say what a credit to non league football Exeter City and Yeading have been this weekend. They have confirmed what we all know - that the money paid to the prima donnas in the Premier League (and the money ripped out of people's hands to fuel the greed) is just not justified. I wonder if that's what causes Freddie Shepherd's discomfort - sitting there thinking "oh my god, how can I justify the next spend of x million pounds to the shareholders"?

I agree, I was supporting both Exeter and Yeading over the weekend for two reasons.

 

1. The obvious there both Non-League

 

2. The slightly more obvious both the opposition Managers were Scottish.

 

Did messers Ferguson or Souness pay any sort of respect to their non-league counter parts?

Spoke to someone who attended the game and apparently Ferguson refused to allow the Exeter players in to the players lounge after the game,

sums him up for me only happy when things go his way.

To be fair, I believe that's club policy for all matches now, following the soup and pizza-throwing incidents after the Arsenal game.
