What have we got ?

So what do we have to hand to take to the DEMO, on thursday at 4-30p.m.at the council offices.

 

Have we got any "banners" or "placards" ready.

 

Have we all got our "blue & white" colours ready for show?

 

Are we all ready and prepared to show the members of the council and the public that we "CARE" & are still firmly behind the club.

 

I am looking for 5/6 stewards with our club stewards vests. Would YOU be willing to volunteer for such a duty? Not for trouble as we dont want that but mainly for keeping order and to allow members of the public, and councillors their rightful way of passage through and around the demonstrators. Mainly for safety reasons. Will still be able to voice your support for the "gate" but be available for the above mentioned.

 

Also if any-one out there knows where a "megaphone" can be acquired for the night I would be extremely grateful to know.

 

p.s. As the game was off on saturday have those leaflets, kindly made up by MISA been handed out to the public yet? If not are there volunteers to do this assuming MISA need people of course.

 

Anybody know some apt songs we could sing?(Remember they have to be clean and not rude or offensive.)

 

We have to be seen among the people that we are civilised as well as committed.

 

Are we getting prepared for a good turn out and good show.

Hey cookie, congrats on 1000 posts by the way. Work told me i should go after i mentioned it! I have my banner i'm bringing, i have a small FA Cup flag as well i could bring, but i want a hand free for the camera! Shirts, scarfs, hats, as well to wear. I only have a tiny tango-phone, but will ask around for a megaphone, should be bringing one or two bodies with me too.

 

As for songs, i have an abundance of them that i sing, when i'm alone with my Media player, i'll share if you promise not to laugh!!! and don't worry they're swear free!

I need some volunteers please,URGENLY, to act as stewards. No experience required but a talent for keeping people from falling into the road, to maintaIn a safe walkway without obstructions for members of the public and to shout and sing along with the rest of us all at the sametime. PLEASE PLEASE turn up and help. Better still give me your names NOW via personal message to me. You can do this via this forum. Look me up and E.mail me. I need about 6 people to help me out.This is a MUST. Please please help!!
