As you all may know by now, my opinions concerning the council are that for whatever reasons they ARE timing us out. They are deliberately stalling and because of this, again in my opinion, we could and should have been starting the rebuild already.We could have had the go-ahead by now with the information they have to hand.

Bearing this in mind the words from the club that mention possible action against the council for expenditure in setting everything up should/maybe include further costs incurred by the club in the shape of interest added for needless delays to the procedures.

If at the end of all this the ombudsman or whoever actually DOES find the proof of foul play then this ADDED INTEREST should be taken into account when the council are brought to bear concerning their tactics. Maybe even out of their OWN pockets instead of council funds.

Together with the above those people,in particular, who actually instigated such delaying tactics and who decided to play it this way should in my opinion be made to stand up and be counted in a personnal way for their actions.

It could well be that we could and should have been back home by now!

We need to get building quick to have a ground of any sort for the start of next season. No doubt someone will post the result of Thursday nice and early?

Dont know about others but I have got a good feeling that Thursday 13th will be a good day for MFC,surely this time it has to be.

I'm rather hoping we get good news on the WEDNESDAY. As for Thursday well lets just be grateful its not a Friday !

Some years ago Labour councillors in Clay Cross were both surcharged(made to pay out of their own pockets) and disbarred from office when they refused to increase rents for council tenants.

And that was for a Labour party looking out for their constituants and for trying to do good.

What could happen to a Tory party doing the complete opposite in both cases. Gives you hope dosen't it!!
