Just to let you know that it has been tipping it down here all day (personally I blame Freez) and the pitch at the moment is very wet. If it continues through the night it is more than likely the game will be called off. However, if it is dry (drier) overnight the pitch drains exceedingly well. Any fans travelling should call 01524 411797 from 9am in the morning to check the current status. Alternatively check the Morecambe messageboard at Shrimpsvoices. If you've crossed the Thelwall Viaduct you could also tune into Radio Lancashire on 104.5FM for latest updates.

 

If the match is on (and I sincerely hope so) the match will be unsegregated. All Canvery Island supporters will be welcome to join us in JB's Bar under the Main Stand. Unfortunately entrance is £1 but the craic is good. Alternatively come along to the Morecambe FC pub, the York Hotel, and add a scarf to the collection. Both venues will have the football on big screens.

 

For food the award-winning pie, chips, mushy pease and gravy served from the hatch under the Main Stand is highly recommended and at just £2.40 an absolute bargain.

 

If you are travelling I hope the match is on and you have a great day out but leave empty-handed.
