If Chris Moore goes to Welling it won't be on loan.

We currently have three fit centre halves as Paul McCarthy is back in the fold, we also have Graham Porter almost fit, and, in extremis we have Jay Saunders. Chris would be at best 5th choice now, so I cannot see it as a problem!

Well I didn't know that McCarthy was fit, and that Porter would be playing again soon, as all he seems to do is run round in circles when the rest of the squad are warming up.

Jay Saunders is better off in midfield, with Macca, as they make a great midfield duo most of the time.

BBC also has McCarthy down for a return, but again, that hasn't always been the most reliable of sources either.

With an official website lacking, I've got to the stage where I tend not to believe any team news until I see the team on the pitch at the ground.

It's interesting how quickly Moore has slipped down the pecking order this season. Admittedly, he hasn't been at his best, but that's the frustration - after last season's displays, we know how well he can potentially play, and so if he does depart, we will be in the situation we were in with the Fridge, wondering what might have been.

Having said that, if Bunce turns out to be as reliable as he was against Crawley, this may prove to be less of a problem. It's a toughie...
