Im quite exited about the whole demo - We probably get a better atmosphere than we do at the games!

Porka, Darius, Veaney and Jamie are going to be there ?!! That really takes the piss - can't be arsed to go to games but they'll turn up for a demo ? Might as well invite Ali Bongo and his crew along. A demo's fine but it should be supporters that go, not just anybody who lives in Margate or people who have dropped the club like a hot potato. Don't forget to ask Dave Cox and the rest of the old supporters club too.

Can anyone design some posters on their computer? Perhaps they can be distributed to local pubs/social clubs advertising the protest. There are plenty of lapsed supporters out there who will not look at this forum. I know it means work for someone but I haven't got the software to produce anything half decent.

Wrong other anon – we need as many people as poss at this demo. Not everyone can/is prepared to drive an hour to Ashford. Let's not be elitist about it.

Does it really matter if they havent gone to games? If they care enough to demonstrate then thats good enough for me. I'll be honest, i've only made 3 games this season. i made 16 last season. But i follow the team every step of the way, just because i can't make the games, doesnt make me any less of a fan. We shouldn't knock people for wanting to come to the demo. One of my friends has only been to a handful of games in his life, but he's promised to turn up with me because he knows how much it means to me

 

lets not let this show of unity turn into a slanging match please.

 

Would be great to have some official peep with us as well thurs, any chance of a few players turning up and showing there support?

It is important that as many people are there as can be mustered. The council will do well to look on a large crowd and ponder that some of it may be the margin of defeat in any forthcoming election. We were getting 1500 to matches before, that means there is a large silent majoriy is out there who do not go to the matches at the moment, for whatever the reason, although I am sure many more than the 200 odd regulars would be there if we played at Hartsdown. They are our constituency and should be welcomed.

Most importantly we should be impeccably behaved, and dignified, because any bother would play right into the Council's hands.
