Not to mention a "JETTY" that also once attracted thousands of people. Money used from the turner centre to build a new JETTY instead would be greater value for the area.

Rob 50 uk is correct. Replacing the lights which were paid for from external funders (ie EU or Regeneration Budget) would entail the amount of the grant to be repaid.
