With the introduction of the freedom of information act in the new year, does any one out there understand the implications of the says act with regard to the council having to present information to us regarding the hartsdown situation if and when requested. Including the elusive minutes from the clubs meetings. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bow.gif" alt="" />.

The act is meaningless. I doubt it will make any difference in our case anyway.

One can request copies of all documents relating to the redevelopment of Hartsdown Park and the council must provide same within 20 working days.

We've already payed for it. Over the last 2 years.

And we are still paying for it.

there is only one problem with this is that they must make avaliable the info they have.ie if they have "accidentily" got destroyed they do not have to say what was in it(not that i am saying that is what they have done just pointing out a little flaw in the act)
