Lest we forget that Jacko has been out for the past couple of months, he's still putting in the effort to get back to fitness. I spoke with him on New Years Day, and he said that Fordy blamed him for the second Accrington goal, scored by jagielka, and that's why he dropped him completely.

As for Matt Lovell, how much would we get for him? £1! what club in their right mind is going to want a player who moans all the time, is constantly bad mouthing his teammates, and has, as yet, not become an adult, coz he sure as hell behaves like an adolescent.

There's the evidence you wanted, Robert S. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Clearly, getting rid of Jacko and Lovell would leave us woefully short of cover at left-back. Stu M has it spot-on - you'd rather trust Jacko than Lovell defensively. And as Slarti indicates, the injury problems haven't helped.

aldershot away, bad attitude. see northfleet select.

And the reserve game, (although i have to say he played well and scored a screamer) against chatham town, where because he could not get past what looked like a 14 year old full back and lost the ball he was lucky to get a free kick. what did he do next..... and i quote, "come near me again and i will break your effing legs you little c..."

more pot kettle i think. little c...

And he is rubbish.

I'm not jackos biggest fan, but the more i think about it, the more I would actually have him at the back than rouse.

Although it still hurts thinking about that jagielka (the rubbish one for accrington)goasl agaunst us the other week.

hows that for proof robert s?

I'm completely biased here as I am a friend of the "Family Jacko" but this bad-mouthing of Jim is a wee bit hysterical in my opinion. He is a quality player who has played for the last couple of seasons (His last full one with us, last year at Dover and now this season) with the sort of wear and tear injuries that would have completely side-lined a player with less ability and commitment. I reckon he needs time to fully recover and maybe being dropped for a few games could do the trick. Class will out.

Mind you the mistake he made against Accrington was a real classic! "Taxi for Jacko!" Just remember, he hasn't made many in his time at the club!

As for Rouse/Lovell? He was recomended to the club by Hamid Barr at Fisher (I believe), as a player with great talent but with an attitude problem...... A season on, has anyone seen anything to differ from that opinion?
