Thank god for that. Matt Lovell going to Welling I mean, not the criticism of Andy Drury's shot on saturday. The way that Lovell played at Crawley, I'm not surprised that he got dropped, then sent to welling. I could have played better, and that's saying something!

We all know he hasn't played that well but shouldn't we be supportive and not criticise, just like we have to be of Drury?

Fair enough we shouldn't criticise the players when they play well, but in my oppinion, Lovell played the complete opposite that day. Why are you defending him all of a sudden????

Boxing day was a bad game, He can do well and is a decent player. hopefully the loan spell can help him out and we will see him return a better player. However we all know the problem with loans.....

Yeah but his on loan so we can criticise him all we like and it won't affect our perfromances.

The player hardly ever returns to the original club. The trouble with Lovell is that he needs match practice, and discipline. It doesn't show the manager signs of a good team player when all you do is moan when another player is put on instead of you, because you happen to think that you can perform better than that player.

Maybe playing at Welling with Ade Pennock will show him that to get anywhere in this game, you have to be a team player.

Interesting points here - criticism doesn't help, as we know, but again, it comes down to the distinction FF made between constructive criticism on the forum and shouting abuse at the player in question for 90 minutes at the ground.

Agreed, Lovell is a decent player. Just been played out of position, like Eddie McClements.

Saw Eddie McClements play for Dartford in midfield over Christmas. He struggled. Can't play in midfield, can't play at left back - what exactly is is best position?
