Well someone had to mention them sometime...

well they're expecting a crowd of 9000 with FA rules stating that 15% of a ground's allocation must go to the away side in FA Cup games so I'd go with Ian's point

[and before the statto's come out of the woodwork, I have no idea about that 15% figure, I'm just going by the 9,000 Pompey fans who were in Old Trafford for an FA Cup tie a couple of years back]

the Yeading 'fans' may not of been true Yeading fans and more like hangers on at their first non-league game.

I'd love to see them get a draw and go to Newcastle and play infront of a sell out crowd!

If it was any other non-league club but Yeading - the team that knocked us out - I'd be delighted for them to get a 0-0 and go back to a sell-out crowd at St James'. As it is, I hope the players and fans have a great day (but especially the 100 or so regulars) lose 1-4, do themselves proud, give non-league good publicity, etc etc, and lap up all the attention whilst they can, because I know we'd love it. The media attention has really mounted up over the last few days as you would expect, and that's why I started the thread - if we're talking about it, it eases the pain. I think.
