I think that a certain amount of new technology should be used with situations like at Old Trafford. We are using new technology every day in all kinds of jobs and sports, so why not football. F*ck tradition when it comes to things like this.

 

Firstly, why not have linesman on every corner flag, so to help referees and the main linesman come to the right decision.

 

Also why not use the system used in hockey. As soon as the puck crosses that line, a light goes off and a bell or alarm sounds. What is wrong with using that and how is that gonna slow things down?

 

Sky Sports use interactive technology. When it first came out i heard my dad say, 'bloody hell, what a load of sh*t.' But it has become a great bit of technology used at post-match discussions and for viewers pleasure.

 

It will take a few years to get this introduced for sure, but in the next ten years, it will benefit the game greatly.
