I'm sure there are a lot of fans out there who would, if they had the money, invest in the club...

When i have been questioned over this same matter and mentioned about the money put into the club, do you know what the reply has been on several occassions ??

Who's money was it ??

Look at Coldseals debts...into the millions...so who's money was it ?

Was it money from Coldseals customers that was put into the club?

Unfortunately I had no come back and could not answer the questions...it went unanswered and left for people to make up there own mind.

urchinette, just read your previous posts on forum today and feel compelled to add a bit of support for ntrsw(not only coz he is a mate) as i feel some of the criticism you labelled him with are unfair, there are a hell of a lot of hornchurch fans out there who have followed the urchins for years, some of us didn't go week in week out, some just a few times a year, but of the people who go regular now,the majority would of gone a few times each year.

you are right what you say about unc sweating for the club,we only have to look at facilities and players, coaches etc we have had last few years to see this, but it is harsh to criticise NTRSW as he and a few others have worked their tits off trying to help this club.As for being the spokesmen for the supporters, the committee that has been set up is based on a few fans who support the club and want to help,if there is one person who comes to prominence it is because they put alot of input into helping.I am sure in time all supporters will get a say into things concerning supporters but things are at an early stage at the moment and the committee we have was set up at short notice so we could try and help,i am sorry if this is long winded, but i had alot to get off my chest

p.s i think any digs at persons from anyone should be sent as a PM,none of us on here are trying to hurt anyones feelings,we are just all mates who love hornchurch, happy new year

Great points made there Eastside, however, after recent events and comments made, some of the parties involved in helping the club and getting involved for the cause (so to speak)are now going to take a back seat, not get involved and just support the club as a regular paying attendee on match days.

The cycle to Havant i beleive has now at least 3 fewer participants.

As i understand it the fan base is a little digruntled and disilusioned.

Hi Raver, I am not 'hung up' about anything, just fed up with reading all the negative posts about what happened from people that were actually not there when the REAL disaster was imminent. Closure in 2001. The other issue is this, the forum, its been hijacked and I have received nearly one hundred PM's and emails about that issue.

As a moderator of the forum and also Karl's partner I take exception to that. Karl owns the football club and put his heart soul and money into it and all I read these days is nonsense from 'newish' supporters that seem to want to hijack the forum and even the club perhaps,. How many of them thought that Mr Murphy was the saviour, who bothered to find out. Karl did and insisted on guarantees that were not forthcoming. At least Karl and Bryan put their money where their mouth's were.

Of course we want new supporters, that's what Karl did best, he loved them all and still does, he was one of them, not for him thre directors box and boardroom, he was always there in the cold with the rest of you, flask in hand and fags by thje dozen, he increased the support from 40ish, (and never mind all that 'used to come down when they were little) I was there and I know who came down and who didn't.

But let me tell you a story, Bryan Cox is Karl's partner at the football club, very quiet young man with young children, half of everything that went into that club was Bryan's. At the Grays game he was abused by a section of our crowd, thats understandable to a degree given the disappointment felt by the fans over what had happened, but he had his 9 year old son with him. Now then, when Karl worked his fingers to the bone throughout february to June 2002 to get that new clubhouse and the ground up to scratch, Bryan was with him all the way. How can it be right that a 9 year old boy cries because he now cannot support the club that his dad part owns and financed. Because a few fans think they now are the 'voice'of the club.

It's not right, and I don't care if you agree with me or not. All I know is this, there would be no club without Karl and Bryan and there will be no club without them if they pull out, talk is so cheap but, as Unc always says, 'bricks build houses' There is a lot of talk but no one as yet has any bricks. Except Unc and Bryan.

This forum has been taken away from us, all of us, the real owners of the club. And Karl always knew that and said that 'the clubs not mine Jen, it belongs to ALL of us' The voices on this forum are no longer the REAL voices of Hx, but the voices of a few people who haven't a clue what our club is all about. And never will have. It just suits them to sound important. Thjey actually WANT to own it. They couldn't tie Uncs boots.

Hx football club belongs to everyone in Havering and beyond if they care for it. Not to a dozen or so people on a forum with all their smart [****!!****] innuendos about the past. No disrespect with regard to Urchin Aid, a great effort, but hardly likely to sort out the problems at the club was it.?

Nice to see me back? There wouldn't have been a club in the first place to come back to if it wasn't for Unc and Bryan and I am sick of all the (oh we are so disappointed in them for what they did) what did they do, rebuild a filthy disgusting derelict stadium and take you up four leagues to 4th place in the confsth.

Hang ups.? Not me Raver, but maybe a few of you guys have who were not there in the beginning, but of course 'hundreds of you came down there' and it was 'from time to time' when you were kids.

urhcinaid was never going to save the club,we know that, but alot of good came out of the night,it was a fans night,us fans like spending time with each other, thats why we go week in week out,as for people going when they where younger, that is a silly comment,fact-football fans are fickel whatever level, they are not going to pay 6-10 pounds a week watching their team who are in the ryman third division, the minute a club moves up a division their crowds increase, thats simple economics, hornchurch had years of languishing in the lower reaches of the ryman league and the fans were never going to turn up as they do now.Perhaps because of the events of last 4-5 years we actually have something within our community that we are proud of,something we never really had (or at least found),for that we are grateful to unc and yourself

Urchinette, what i think you need to understand, is, that now particularly after the dust has sort of settled people are geunuiley appreciative of what Unc has done for the club, we are all aware where the club was and where it is now...

I find it hard to beleive that anyone would say otherwise.

Ok Urchinette, fair enough. Again some i agree with and some I don't. You don't care of course. You said that in your previous post.

While I don't want to contradict myself by turning this into a massive argument I will say the following.

Yes, I was one of kids who used to go from time to time. To be honest when I did go I wasn't really bothered whether we won or not. Just liked watching my football.

In summer 2002 I heard HFC had signed Steve Jones and went down one Saturday afternoon to take a look, unaware by the way that the club had ambitions of league football. Anyway, i liked what i saw and came week in, week out and grew an affection for the team. That is what happens to most football fans. I can't help it. I love HFC now and that is not going to change regardless of whether I was there in 2001 or not.

I'm not sure what sort of hang ups I'm supposed to have.

I believe that i have been perfectly fair in what I have said. I was actually very complimentary about a lot as well if you had noticed?

On a side note, you are absolutley right about what happened at the Grays match, especially in front of a child. I have no time for that sort of behaviour but I doubt if it was any of the guys I know from this forum. I would be very disapointed if it was.

It's worth remembering that the gate last home match was just under 700 - and this was despite losing many of the top players.

It seems to me that the potential support is still there, to a fair degree. Obviously not as large as it was, but a winning team will hopefully pull a few more back to watch the matches.

They are still up there at the top end of the league, with or without the stars.

There is still a lot of potential at the club - they may not be top, but they are nowhere near the bottom either and the season still is only at the half way stage.

And I will be at Eastbourne - so will my son - if anyone is going, please make sure you go to the right ground - it is the old Langney Sports ground, it is NOT the Oval or the Saffrons - there are three teams in Eastbourne - (but only one in Hornchurch, and I am sure that we want to keep the one we have got).

Well again a few issues, I don't doubt your comments Raver and indeed I know who you are, it was me that unlocked the club and gave you and your mate the shirts a couple of years ago after your PM.

As for 800k Keemo, where did you get that from.? I have the accounts here in front of me and its not even half that. Please reveal your sources or retract that statement. Or please prove me wrong.

Karl and Bryan have kept wise council for 3 months nearly now. They had to, they lost 10 million pounds in the closure of Coldseal/Bryco Group and needed to consider their options. The property companies and building companies were their first priorities. Gary Calder and Gary Hill have kept the ship afloat but in truth the options that have been put forward to Karl and Bryan and their offshore shareholders haven't met the required comfort factors.

We shall see what happens next.

Urchinette, without wanting to go onto great depth on here I was invited to a meeting a while ago where the clubs position was put to a small gathering and the options open put before us.

I beleive you implied that I thought the clubs debts were £800,000, this figure was, as i saw it, a combination of the current debt, the debt due by April time , and what finances may be needed to get things on an even keel and help plan for the future.....
