Hello boys, bit harsh there NTSW as both Scott and Adam have been with the club quite a while now, in fact I reckon they've been there longer than you have. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Anyway, they are still there and still playing for the Urchins which is more than your namesake is. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

Try and keep some perspective, it almost seems as though you have elected yourself official club spokesman, there are a lot of fans out there that perhaps don't agree with your frequent posts. Most certainly I don't. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Like the new signature as well NTRSW, well, we were there in 2001 when the club was closing, can't quite recall your handsome face being around at the time. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

Well in that case he should know what good servants Adam and Scott have been for us, out of the Ryman Div 1 Nth, out of the Premier, 4th in the Conference South and still playing there now.

In any event, my point was, I don't recall him being there when the club was closing in 2001 but yet he wants to broadcast to everyone that he was there when we had to let the expensive players go.

Well perhaps he should have done what we did in 2001, buy the club and save it. We are still there and still watching and listening. Don't underestimate Unc, no one will get their hands on the club unless they can afford it and don't rule him out either. He may well decide to get involved again if there isn't a buyer. And as yet all we've had is cheap talk and no dosh committed to the club.

I still don't recall him being there at all before this season, and I haven't missed many games in the past three years.

We have had many a text/PM's/email's about these innuendos on the forum from fans who feel that they are being pushed out of the club/forum.

Surely that cannot be good for the club and its regular 5/600 supporters who may not have a forum voice. look closely, there are only a dozen or less people posting, it used to be 40/50 a day.

Unc sweated blood and tears for that club to rebuild it and the snide comments from the 'newbies' are crass and misleading. That club belongs to everyone of us, not just the new 'forum mafiosa' that think they control it. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

It would be a great help if we could have news of the injured players in the club programme, or on the official web site, rather than speculation in the forum.

I think I am correct in saying that at present Scott Gooding, Adam Locke, Tarquin Mustafa, Simon Downer, Adie Harris and Shaun Carey are all out with injuries.

Similarly, has the loan period for Chris Carruthers, Greg Ngoye and David Hicks now finished - Chris Carruthers was injured at Cambridge early in the trophy match, and there has been no subsequent news.

Some official news would be appreciated.

I certainly hope that we can keep hold of Tarks, my brother sponsored him this season before jetting off to sunnier climes, I was hoping that I could collect his shirt at the end of the season on my brother's behalf!

Oi Earl of Pimlico, you upper class Rupert hoolie, no one is getting Tarks shirt other than my most honourable self! On the last day of the season I will be parachuting out of my private Learjet as it flies over Bridge Avenue, ripping the shirt of Tarks back (in a non-gay manner!!) and I'll bloody the nose of any ruffian that tries to stop me!! So there!

Think it's a good idea....maybe a little more news from the Press Officer *coughIANcough* may help <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

A few more news updates on the actual site could all help. A few pages in the programme wouldn't go a miss either....

Hi Urchinette, nice to see you back on the forum.

I must say however, that I strongly disagree with some of the things in your previous posts.

It seems that you are very hung up about how long any individual has supported the club namely NTRSW on this occasion. Now I don't know how long anyone has been going to the Urchins really but one of the main points of building up Hornchurch FC was to increase the fan base. You wanted these new people through the gates so I feel its unfair to slate them for not being there in the old days.

Secondly, I don't believe anyone (or very few) doubts what Unc did for Hornchurch FC. You guys were very generous to the fans what with all the free merchandise among other things. Everyone I think respects and appreciates all of that even if some do feel bitter about the way it ended.

Thirdly, I think its a ridiculous when you say 'well, why didn't you buy and save the club from exstinction'. Most, if any of us don't have anything like that kind of money and if we did then maybe we would. I know that if I had that sort of cash then I would like to buy it.

In fairness to NTRSW, although he isn't a millionaire who is going to buy HFC, he did organise Urchin Aid along with a few others. Very good night it was too which certainly helped the club in many ways. He was there, as was I the night when everyone went 'wrong' and the look on everyones faces showed how much this club means them.

And about not agreeing with his posts. Well, i guess thats what these forums are all about. The right to disagree. I disagree with many things on your post and of course you may very well disagree with mine and thats cool in my book.

Anyway, I'm not trying to start some full blown argument. As I said, I personally have the utmost respect for what yourself and Unc did for this club an I wish you all the best for the future.

Regards,

Nick
