Braniff/Pearson

Braniff went back to Millwall and played yesterday so i doubt we will see him back but i wonder if we will try and extend Pearson`s loan.

I must admit i was expecting more from him when he first played but with each game he plays he looks better.

i would like to see him stay until the end of the season, but i think he my stay another month.like to see him link u with a fit lee.Greggers was great on sat but u just think that pearson is sometimes just to quick for him as he has put in a few good early crosses only for no one to be near them.

Agree, would like to see Pearson kept on for a bit longer if possible. I think he is starting to get used to Conf. football and the squad now. We mustn't forget his first game only came a day after joining so it's taken him a while to settle.

Not convinced about his strength in the air yet, especially compared to Greggors, but he is big and fast and tends to go a bit more direct. I agree with Anon. I would like to see him link up with Lee and see how that pans out. He could do with a bit more time to prove himself I think - juries still out, but he has improved our overall game especially after all the injuries we have had; gained some points whilst he's been playing as well.

We must remember that we have Lee, Junior, who don't compliment each others styles that well, and Greggors. I think extending Pearsons loan will give us a bit more depth in the squad and another playing option.

I find Pearson is simlar to Junior in that he will cover a lot of ground, has a fair amount of pace, is strong but unlike Junior who seems happy to go wide, Pearson seems to like cutting back in towards the box or having a shot from a wider position. This may suit Lee more who can feed off of his half chances.

Like what I've seen of Pearson so far. He is raw but will improve in time. Would like to see his loan extended until the end of the season.

According to tonight's Echo, Greg's loan spell has been extended by a month.
