Gradley's influence

I am the first to admit that at the beginning of the season i was very critical of Pat Gradley. I felt his pace and distribution were awful. However, he did have 1 or 2 moments of brilliance. As the season went on and, i believe, he regained his fitness, his influence grew. Although some gate fans may not agree, some of his performances have been superb, in my eyes. Against Sutton, he did not play, and the less said about that game the better.

He has not played now for a while, and our form has dipped, to say the least. If he is out for a while, as expected, i fear for the team.

Please, please, please, Pat, come back soon, we need you!

BEEN TO 13 GAMES IN TOTAL, MORE THAN ENOUGH TO SEE WHAT AN "INFLUENCE" HE IS. LAST GAME I SAW HIM PLAY WAS AGAINST LEWES AT HOMELANDS. HE TOUCHED THE BALL ABOUT 5 TIMES IN 90 MINUTES. SHAME HE CANT EAT THE GROUND UP AS QUICKLY AS HE DEVOURS THE CHIPS SAUSAGES AND SARNIES IN THE BAR AFTER THE GAMES! WHY ARE THERE SO MANY ANONYMOUS GATE POSTERS ON THIS SITE? IT ONLY TAKES A FEW MINUTES TO REGISTER.

I totally agree that Gradley is a first class signing.

Quietly effective and does a proper midfield players job by closing down in midfield and lessening the opportunities for opposition to find their own side.

Not flash and few killer passes, but plays simple effecitive balls and links defence to the more forward midfield players.
