I think we have to assume that MFC have moved the goalposts again.

If we got back to the ground we wouldnt know which end we were playing to as they have moved those goalposts so many times.Is it any wonder we cant score a goal against them and win the game(so to speak).

But is it not all as simple as TDC now requiring some 'reasonable confidence that it will all stack up financially,from the initial build(and that the ground and subsequent commercial scheme will get completed)and that there is then a reasonable chance that the CNC can let the commercial bits out.

 

Money is all, and can we really blame the council for wanting to see a reasonable covenant from CNC.

 

Hopefuly that is forthcoming, but it must be a bit of a concern that this is obvious to a developer that it wil be required, but they have not yet produced.

 

I think everyone should be a bit easier on the Council.

 

Money talks,and if it was there, i am sure council would pass the scheme with no further delay-but is it there and will it ever be there?

We may just be wanting TDC to be nice to the club directly in a couple of months.

 

I share that posters surprise at what to an outsider looked ike a knee jerk reaction to the council.
