Trego - no Smith better

Alex - no oates better

Barnett - Sam would have kept him out?

Smith - maybe?

Roubadi - depends when duringthe season and where he playing - I think Murphy better

Edwards - after years of injury free play has had two in two seasons - he is no longer sure of his place and struggled to make the team when at full strength

Keister and Clarke - in and out the team last year and both in decline. At full strenght last year with Saunders and Leberl playing -only room for one

Benevides - no way

Che and Rocky - were the favourite pair at the end of last season

Watson - always 3rd choice at best

 

The answer is about 4 would have made last years team

I know he's gone but what about Scott Ward. He's doing well at Lewes. They are second in the league now and beat Eastbourne Borough on Boxing Day! Don't you think Margate treated him unfairly?

On the playing side, CK and the club have treated a lot of players particularley young players unfairly!!!!!

I'm not normally given to making sweeping statements but the views about treating younger players are total pig-swill. How do you "know" they were treated unfairly? What do you eman by "unfairly"? Is it that you thought they should have been selected but CK didn't? Given the current structure of the club, there is (and has been for some time now) no reserve or youth structure to help younger players develop, although this has always been in the club's longer term plans. I am happy that if CK looks at a younger player and decides he is not good enough, then that is good enough for me. After all, I don't attend the training sessions. Do you?

I think it was the fans who treated Ward unfairly.

It was the shocking defending in front of him that caused the problems.

 

Agree that Smith would have made it last year.

 

Also Green is by far best left back we have had for 6 years.

I was never a JK fan when in conference national ,but have to say he has been superb this season

Fair enough.I am the one who said I felt CK and the club treated young players unfairly.I am wrong and apologise!!!!

If thats your opinion then stick to it.Just because others disagree dosent mean you have to go back on what you think. It dosent mean that you are wrong. It may be they that ae wrong.Say what you feel,stick with it and stop being a mouse. You have a right of opinion so give it honestly. If we all agreed on everthing this would be a perfect world.
