Nationwide South - Hornchurch 3 Bishops Stort 1

Brilliant game, where we had some luck and it seemed what with their penalty and some of the decisions, that it was just going to be another ones of those days, but we battled hard. My mentions go out to Paul O'Donoghue and Boniek Forbes. Paul played well and very little caused him any problems, Boniek ran at Storford and caused all sorts of problems and was very unlucky to have his effort scrambled of the line by the defender or was the ball over the line?

All in all a great start to the year and this is the result that will send us back to where we belong.

DTC

Is there any chance that we can sign Paul for slightly longer than just one month?

Good summary DTC. Paul just seemed to add a little bit of confidence to the defence. I think he's in to cover for Simon D while he's injured.

It was the first time I had seen Bonny but he looked a quality player if only his final delivery could have been better. I thought their No 4 was lucky to be on the pitch after some terrible tackles on Bonny.

I think his final ball will improve with confidence and more appearances. Considering his treatment his temprement looks excellant and on other occassions with a different ref BS might have been reduce to a few less.

We were level with where the penalty was awarded - neither of us could see why it was awarded, as the only thing we saw was a handball by someone in yellow (not the GK).

So just why was the penalty awarded?

And I think full credit should be given to Danny Shipp for his excellent free kick - it was one from the Caskey mould.

>>>May I ask who our little number 11 is? Fantastic Player but never picked up his name, can anyone enlighten me?

His name is Boniek Forbes - he had a season with Leyton Orient, and more recently played for Redbridge FC (not D&R but the Ford Utd version).

He was listed in the team squad in the programme.

>>>Now can I ask another question, why is your name Dagger04 when you're more of an Urchin04?

Because it was the first thing that came into my head - but I also contribute regularly to the D&R prog - I submit the stats for each match.

I will also say that the Urchins team this season is the best non-league team I have even watched.
