Not good enough for what exactly? Winning the league? Staying up? Don't be silly. Consolidation is important. Who here thought that we'd romp the league and be top easily at this stage? The play-offs would be a decent achievement at the end of the season IMO, but anything's still possible with half the season to go.

Out of interest what is most fans 'goal' for the season. Mid-Table? Promotion? Play offs?

 

Before the season Windsor would of been happy with Mid-Table but then with a good start we looked like a play off team. I think if we get a run of wins we'd be good enough to get in the play off's.

of course at the moment Dave Carroll has made no 'long term' aims for the club as might only be in charge for a few weeks. Greene said play off's and with him gone we now have a chance of making them!

Whatever we do on the pitch (and Play-offs would be great, staying up is mandatory), we cannot ignore the fact that we have one and half seasons of ground share to go. I know I am a nasty stone in the shoe keep mentioning the future, but it would be nice to see something - anything - happening on this. Sticking our heads in the sand ain't going to make things better. So does anybody know what is happening about the Chairman, the "new Board" he promised, funding for next season, etc etc. Without all that starting to be considered, the play-offs even if we reach them might be a sad dream....... I suspect the answer will be the usual, deafening silence....

I thought Salisbury were quite poor but the conditions were appalling and the pitch wasn't up to much either. Slough haven't been playing that well over the past few games (i missed Billericay away so can't comment) but still picking up quite a few points and a play off place is possible.

Salisbury fans dead friendly, and not a bad ground - well at least the two halfs that have been built.

Good to see Slough supporters continue to stand behind the goal whatever - you lot must be mad/stupid - the view from the covered terracing was good and certaintly not as windswept.

Mind you talking of mad/stupid - i had two hours sleep then spent a total of six hours on the train

for a 0-0 draw.

Totally agree Andrew and had missed that off my posting. We must remember the long term issues we currently have and make sure we continue to push for a resolution which secures the long term future of the club, not just for 1.5 seasons.

 

Hopefully Eddie can continue the good work on the pitch, and some progress can be made off of it.
