Its just not good enough!!!!

We will not get into the play offs until we

a) get crowds of 2000 every home game

B) go full time

c) sign players good enough to play in the Football league.

I think Andy is doing a stoic job on the funding he has, and with the players he can afford.

The Conference is a 2 tiered league - the teams at the top in general are full time - whilst the bottom teams are invariable part time.

It really isn't rocket science, Dave Edge.

But then you hasven't got the gumption to learn how to register, so how could you possibly be expected to understand non-league football!!!

If we dont win our next two games Andy should go we could have been into the play offs but he keeps changing the the team.

Win Andy or go!!!!!

I think we need to check into planet reality here! We are a part time club with moderate following. GNFC has done well in staying in the Conference. I personally think that a top 10 finishing position come the end of the season would be great. If we finish higher then more the better, but I don’t think we are ready for league football yet. The worst thing would be to get league football next season or the one after and spend large amounts of money only to be relegated back to the Conference with massive debts. I would rather watch GNFC in the Ryman league than not being able to watch them at all because they have gone to the wall!

I have seen some great football at the fleet, sometimes more entertaining than Premiership games with those over paid pre-Madonna’s. We all need to be patient and let Andy build a team that could one day lead us to league football. In the mean time every one of us should help by attending every home game and giving full support to the lads out on the park (through the good times and the bad).

Just my 2 pence worth!

What have those two namby-pamby premiership clubs got to do with this thread???

Chavs only follow the better teams. If Arsenal are top then chavs will support them if not they'll support someone else. If we got league football the Chavs would be all over us attending every game but if we got relegated again they'd leave.

So you see it's a whole big Chav story.

Sorry Big J R, I also support Chelsea since 1990 infact, and I aint no Chav. The point I was trying to make was that big clubs like Chelsea, Arsenal and Man Utd will always have there hardcore fans but will also have hangers on people that follow the club just because of the success. I don't know the guy that left the message he could be anyone but what I was saying was he seems to be one of those fans who has left a premier league club to watch The Fleet, like I did, and is now having second thoughts, not like I have.

If there are any people out there that have left "the big time" to come and watch the fleet and is expecting it to be plain sailing all the way to the football league then think again. We have no Russian Oil tycoon to bail us out when things get messy or we need a new defender. Chelsea now have things made for them there going to grow to be the biggest club in the world within five years but they had about 98 years of struggle before that, remember the 80's Big JR? and the time before that, the failed stadium plans of the sevenites that bankrupt us? It is going to be hard work going to the football league but so rewarding when we get there.

I had also got fed up with Arsenal fans calling Chelsea fans Chavs.

I think the likes of Barcelona & Real Madrid will beg to differ.

Stamford Bridge comes nowhere near The Nou Camp or The Bernabeu.

Aside from the punctuation error, to whom are you referring here? Suzi Quatro perhaps? Or maybe Sandie Shaw...
