Richie in addition to taking him round our own town, we hope to take him to:

 

(1.)The Mascot Derby. @ Lingfield Park.

(2.)The Mascot Egg and Spoon Relay Race. @ Goodwood Race Course.

(3.)The Mascot Grand National.@ Huntingdon.

(4) Cricket - (possibly at the Oval) , maybe Chelmsford.

(5) charity football match in March/April at Loftus Road QPR

 

Further coverage, if we can win some of these events.

Just this season, at the middle of last season we went round the local schools asking them to design a Mascot, publicised the event. The final 5 children were invited to our last home game of the season where the press were involved.

 

The first game of this season, Molly aged 9, came back and saw her design made up, it cost £ 420.00 but we were quoted prices from £ 500 to £ 1,500.00 and had to shop around.

 

We take Billy round the Town, advertize we have a club. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> A journalist from the Braintree and Witham has even voluntered to enter himself in one of the Mascot 5 events, mentioned above, what better publicity than a journalist writing about his experience in the Braintree Town Mascot suit, you couldn't buy better publicity. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
