Segregation and Cover

Will there be segregation for the Crawley game and if so is there cover for away supporters? Thank You

Dont know if the game will be segregated - I would hope not - but if it is, the away supporters are in the Uncovered end (although if it is expected to be wet, they are often given room in the covered stand on the side of the ground)

From a selfish point of view, segregation is best.

 

During the 1st half last Tuesday, Accy's travelling troubadours outsang us as successfully as their team were outplaying us. Was our dominance in the 2nd half totally unrelated to the fact that their support moved up to the open end, where they were nowhere near as effective without the resonance provided by the Northfleet End roof?

I suspect there will be segregation and if it rains then away fans sometimes get a little covered side of the Stonebridge Road terrace.

Apparently the match was segregated today because some dozy sod at Crawley claimed that they'd be bringing around 1,000 fans! Yeah right.....

Keep them out in the rain and flog 'em some umbrellas to raise money for the Fleet! The Crawley intelligentsia that came loping in under the covered stand weren't very gracious - if a bunch of away fans are screaming for Pinns to die (after being taken out by that vicious little git Kember), then they can sod off back out in the rain!!

And they had the nerve to call our ground "grim", when we were at least able to offer them cover from the rain, which we would have struggled to get at their place, with cover only on 1 side and 1 end.

It was strange to hear the few Crawley fans singing, all you normally hear is a 747 taking off at there ground!!

Its not just 2500 crowds and a decent full time team that creates a league club ( altho that helps) .. Its the whole atmosphere of the club.

 

We only sing when we're winning , sing when we're winning, sing when we're winning. ( which now isn't often)..

From a female point of view - the segreation was unfair to crawley supporters - we were told we couldn't sit down if we wanted, there was no ladies toilet in the away end and the one we could use was dank and dismal, and whats all this about removing the top of your coke bottle?
