Chris and comments re: the pitch

Forgive me staring a new thread on same subject,but last thread seems to have got hijacked and off topic.

 

For what its worth, i don't think Chris'comments are particularly well timed ,and it does come over as an excuse.

 

However, he is correct just the same; since whilst not there on Wednesday, i have seen many good Margate performances, but they have nearly always been on a good pitch.

 

Can't wait for the Gate to have an artificial pitch.

problem is the pitch isnt going to improve you know as well as me in a few weeks more they will be even more cut up and will resemble a bog..

Good point MM,we do seem to play better on shall we say solid ground I hope CK has notice this and maybe can put it right.Thanks for starting this new thread,other one is a joke.

Trouble is football is all about playing on different types of surfaces and we cannot wait for good.firm grounds. The other teams,welling especially managed to cope and therefore so should we.

Agree with you entirely Cookie,and simply adding that we can play decently on good pitches, but yes, we also need to grind out results.
