A fair point. What I meant was that to viewers of the messageboard, even registered posters can be 'anonymous' in a sense, since one cannot necessarily put a face to the name, but I agree that registration-only can be useful for admins.

That's not a very fair response.

 

Hamid Barr was pants, even for the reserves.

Gary Abbott was over the hill & the likes of Grays reserves was hardly going to test him much.

 

But both of them still got first team opportunities.....

No less fair than decrying the club for letting go a player who played either two or three matches in the reserves.

 

If he was really conference standard, (and I'm not aking any judgement here because I haven't seen him play) the surely Hereford wouldn't have released him after one first team match.

 

Now he may have been the new Steve Portway, and he may have been the next Louis Evans, but we will probably never know.

 

Ask yourself this, of all of the players that Andy has let go (as opposed to sold), how many of them have gone on to be top class conference players.
