I was one of the 'old boys' (cheek!) barracking one of your players and I agree my language was over the top (apologies for anyone offended). Your number 6 got one of our players booked and continuously berated the ref. That is disgraceful behaviour from any football player. The challenge on the keeper wasn't that bad at all and the ref only gave a free kick, he only booked our player after 6 gave him an ear bashing. Poor referee to allow a player to influence him.

I am a margate fan and I was positioned far end of pitch on the side though not behind the far goal and in my view the tackle made was for a 50/50 ball and was there for both players to go for. I personally didnt think it deserved a booking.At the time I thought it was rather harsh too.

And Welling players would never exaggerate a tackle or try to influence the ref! Come on, like it or not, such things are part and parcel of football. Maybe it would be better if they weren't, but, hey, that's life!

You've not seen us play then! We're hopeless a trying to win things from refs. They seem to ignore us and in a way that's fair enough.
