I hate to criticise the team, but we really were fairly rubbish for 75 minutes today. Couldn't string any passes together which wasn't helped by a very heavy pitch. Finally seemed to wake up once we were two goals down. Welling's 2nd must be considered a bit flukey coming directly from the corner as far as I could see. Made a game of it in the last 15 minutes and could have had a couple more if only Rocky could have found a firm enough footing after rounding Charlie Mitten twice. Let's hope we can start Saturday as we finished today!

Sorry to post an an anon, but I went today and I felt very sorry for you guys. That is an awful ground, no wonder your attendances are so low, it is absolutely dreadful.

 

Wings were good for a change and your defence seems to panic everytime your keeper gets the ball. He is as soft as he is shockingly inept.

Today though we were pitiful. No aggression,no talent,no heart,no commitment. Welling for their part did exactly what we should have done and adapted to the conditions and want the game more. We really were diabolical all round exept for TREGO who kept the score down. Only in the last 20 minute did we start to wake up and dont anyone tell me BAPTISTE is good. He wasnt today even though he sored our goal. The two he missed were caused by him taking the ball off the foot of Watson when better placed to score score and in the second instance tried to beat one too many. I trend I notice in him lately.

We were nearly all not at the races and it wasnt until that lat 20 minutes that Mitten had a shot to save.

Welling should beware of a backlash from this and though they played better than us today will probably end up nearer the relegation zone than we will come the end of the season.We'll see who laughs last.

You must be kidding. Your keeper was awful, kept flapping at the ball, was in the wrong position on both Welling goals, and that does include the one that went straight in from the corner.

 

You will stay up though, probably.
