Another Reason to hate Slough

They wouldn't let our fans into our own ground at 11am ffs. Yes okay the game is in risk of being called off but they wouldn't of cared. they wanted to spend money in the bar. The person on the gate said it was shut when they had just phoned to check and it was open.

 

 

Can someone with more info i.e Andy or Cindy post the full story please

When I arrived at the ground the turnstiles were open and waiting, so where is the problem? Pay to get in and go to the bar, it's not rocket science.

Surely it's up to the home team to determine what time the gates open though, whether it's your ground or not. This was just another home game for Slough Town, regardless if it was tenants vs landlords.

Our fans offered to pay but they didn't let them. Our fans get there at 12ish for a 3pm kick off to drink in the bar so of course they would like to go in early to drink but no they didn't let them...EVERY other ground that the turnstiles are not open they still let us in to drink at the bar as the money goes to the club...but oh...what's that? The bar money goes to Windsor? Oh i see...

I wouldn't imagine that was the reason why the turnstiles weren't opened Woody. Probably didn't want the hassle of refunds if the game was to be called off (which it was).

As far as i know a Supporters Club committie meeting was susposed to be held in the bar but the slough people stopped that from happening.

I don't know the situation but did the Supporters Club Committee communicate with people from Slough about it Woody? I really can't see why they would have stopped a meeting happening, Slough Town are not out to ruin Windsor & Eton you know.

I was there at the gate at the time, just gone 10.25 not 11.00! No one goes through the gates except players, officials and helpers. Initially the lady was becoming irate and insisting to come in, our person on the gate rightfully said no, after one of the gentlemen, who was very polite, asked nicely they were let in and told there was no need to pay now, but trusted them to come back later.

 

No big deal Woody, get your facts correct and untangle your knickers!
