Feasible (sp?), but don't think it's true, it was the refs decision overall at the end of the day. I don't think Windsor would have been too up for it, nor too disappointed to see it called off given the events of the past ten days at their club.

The ref didn't step on the pitch i've been told. Both sets of players wanted to play. Ref said no. End of

Ref was on the pitch at 10.55 when I got there with the linesmen. He was concerned about some ruts down by the far end 18 yard box. To spot those, he must have been on the pitch - probably on his hands and knees with a magnifying glass looking for the slightest issue with the pitch.

But what's the odd's of it being a 12pm kick off next year...I'd bet my life on it

As a result of an early kick off i was having some Stella whilst eating my breakfast and then throwing it up before 10am!!!

Woody, at this time of year the best time for a KO is between 12 & 1. This is when the day is at it's warmest and the pitch will not be freezing over again. An over zealous official called it off at the end of the day. You were there, you should have seen for yourself it looked perfectly fine.

I still remember the W&H match ref called that one off my [****!!****], with no keeper Windsor did not want to play.

Tbh i dunno why i am getting myself pissed off about today. You;ve lost out on about 400 fans which is a hefty amount of cash! If only you did what i told you ages ago....

 

 

And i went to all the effort of printing up Songs, getting balloons, bringing Choco back from the dead and wakingup early....

Thinking back to last season's crowds, more like 500+ Woody. You should be glad the game was called off anyway.

I think the revised fixture will still attract 5-600, and anyway, the three points from that game we'll be taking off Windsor will be more important than the gate.

In a way yes i am glad it was called off with Mal's "I found him in pub" goalie...but i'd of still liked to see a good game....
