Despite being confused by the home supporters chanting "City-City-City" the mighty Saints put on a hardworking pleasing performance.

 

Won't do a match report because it's done so much better on the official website (given 9/10 in the Cambridge programme !)

 

Being picky - but didn't Dean Hooper play better before he cut off the pony tail

 

Thought Lee Charles looked promising for the short time he was on the pitch

 

Match on New Year's day should be interesting if the niggle today was anything to go by. Also Cambridge play better away from home

 

Two clean sheets in a row - I can't take it - now where is the rest the holiday beer ?

A great hard working performance by all the lads. The defence with Bastock behind was again very solid, especially Seeby covering for Cousins at left back. I just hope he is starting in midfield in the return. Clarke did not stop running all game.
