A year in Review...

So as we get near to that time of year when the year...ends thoughs go back to 2004 as a whole. My first full year as a Windsor fan has had a few ups and dows to say the least.. My now infamous rivaly with some lewes fans led up to a classic game at the Dripping pan! Who can forget the Charge? Or the chanting to the pub and the locals of Lewes opening their doors wondering what the [censored] was going on and then the landlord of the pub telling us to shut up after hours of singing! However after than it all went wrong and Windsor's form slumped so badly we went from 1st to 3rd.

 

 

Another memory i'll always keep is Tony Reid scoring a hatrick vs Egham...Pricless!

 

This season started off with an awesome pre-season and a very good start to the season...i'll never forget staines away...mostly because i walked to it on a boiling august day, although that has led to me getting a lift to almost every away game this season!, but also because of the Near-world class second half!

 

After a while be became a team that could not kill others off and then Greene upped and went off to Maidenhead and took his mates with him. The shockwaves are still being felt around Stag Meadow but i'm sure we'll come out of it stronger.

 

On a personal note i've met alot of rather odd people who if it wasn't for the common link of Football i would of never of met! I also got involed in helping out whenever i could and now i find myself doing the clubshop on matchdays and working behind the bar! Feels like i've been at Windsor for a lifetime but it's only been one year and 3 months <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shocked2.gif" alt="" />

Sorry to let you guys down, but as everybody is doing it - i thought i'd better come clean so as we get near to that time of year when the year...ends thoughs go back to 2004 as a whole. My first full year as a SLough fan has had a few ups and downs to say the least.. Mainly my change of heart on becoming a fan of a real football club

 

The shockwaves are still being felt around Stag Meadow but i'm sure we'll come out of it stronger. I have now found a really big box to stand on and now I can see right over the rails surrounding the pitch.
