Last night.....

.....was the first chance that I've had to see the new squad - I thought that things look very encouraging. Players weren't afraid to get stuck in for challenges, some of the movement on and off the ball was good - the only suspect aspects were the short passes and perhaps the way that we were carved open at times (but the opposition are 3 divisions above us!)

 

Great start to the game with our goal - brilliant leveller from Brighton in the second half.

 

As for Liam - looks fit and hungry as ever - certainly looks more of a first team player than last season, having filled out a bit and I dare say plenty of defences will not like playing against him. Winning the ball off the goalkeeper in the second half when most players would have given up was superb.
