Xmas eve at the council offices

Well,I have to apologise to Misa Dave where he says there will be a decision today at the offices of the council. Have just come back from town, met Melvin who says he just saw margate f.c. members entering. Apparently this IS going to be a decision day. Yes christmas eve!!

Now to my reckoning the council surely can't be that cruel to turn us down at this time of the year, a day before christmas day. A bad decision today wouldn't go down well with people from ALL ways of life.

It just has to be a positive move, a positive decision and as Harte' says this would go down well with the press and everyone in thanet should we be given the go-ahead on this day. Massive headlines for the council giving us that christmas present after all .Would do them a power of good.

Don't really care what it makes them look like so long as the decision is in our favour, finally and completely.

Heres hoping that today the 24th December will go down in history as the day we actually did get the final go-ahead to COME HOME. Lets hope and pray that this really will be the happy christmas we have all been looking for. Fingers crossed xx [/color]

Cookie have I misread something or have the Council put back the decision AGAIN. If they are not happy with the stadium plans how the fu#k can they be pleased with the KCC plans over the Art Centre. As we ratepayers are picking up that ever increasing bill why is Sandy not querying that one. Something to do with a Tory County Council and "I'll stratch your back...." agreement between the Thanet Tories and those based in Maidstone.

No-one from the Club at the Council offices today, called Melvyn to check and he didn't know what I was talking about.

 

Enough of these rumours, please! We've got enough to worry about and its not whether we're going to have custard or cream with our Christmas pudding!

and not to forget the £60m spent on westwood cross which i know for a fact will leave a large shop in margate high street empty(M&S) I don't think there be happy untill margate is dead.

Theres things being put around from all over the place at the moment and am trying to keep up with it all. If,as been said by Margate f.c. that AGAIN the council are stalling and wanting more info by the 4th jan,why then,have the club officials just entered the council offices,as seen by Melvin.Together with that the post from Misa Dave that indeed there would be a decision made today. Surely Misa Dave would have known about this knock-back prior to his post this morning.

Radio states the same as mentioned by the club in their statement too.

Am now, again, a bit confused as to what actually IS hapening.

 

Am sure more will comeout about this in the next few hours or days.

I have given you all what I have been told and what has been seen and together with the clubs statement cannot enlighten you more. Still got those fingers crossed xxxxxxxxxxxxx(thats fingers crossed and not kisses by the way)

I specifically asked Melvin who he had seen going into the council offices and he definately said it was Margate f.c. members though he didn't give names. If it wasn't them and he was mistaken, though it seems he should know their faces, SOMEONE has gone in and he did say there were several of them. I am sorry if I got everyone excited, I was too, but that was the source that I got that info from and I dont lie. Oh well the excitement was good for an hour or two.

So it must be as the club has said then anyway with the council still not happy, still making us sweat,still trying to wriggle out of it still wanting more information still being the peoples enemy.

I dont like mentioning names but the origin of all this started with Misa Daves post then meeting Melvin in the town with what he had say I put two and two together. I was just giving out that info to all. If I am also in the wrong for doing that then I hold my hands up. Its just really funny how all these statements and posts and one-on -one information has suddenly come out all on the same day one after the other. My personal opinion is that something IS going down today but we are not supposed to know. Thats just MY personnal opinion.
