Hopefully the match will survive latest forecasts. BBC (they've been wrong before!) currently say minus 3C Sunday night, getting up to +5C on Monday. However, with a noon KO it could be touch and go... Fingers crossed...

If there isn't too much rain it'll be okay by the looks of it yesterday. Isn't in as good a condition as this time last year but there is an extra team playing on it. IMO it would be better if both reserve teams played some place else but of course that would cost.

Woody, the pitch is in better condition at the moment that this time last season.

 

The reason there is so much surface water is that it has been so dry lately and become so compact that the slightest drop of water was always going to be a problem.

 

Unless there is a heavey downpoor on the morning of the match then I would be very surprised if the game is off.

Forgot to mention that I disagree about the reserves team playing elsewhere.

 

As for the number of games it works out that there will be only 4 extra games on the pitch than last year (cup games excluded) even with Windsors reserves back at Stag Meadow.

 

This is because there are now two team less in the Premier Division meaning four less games (2 for Slough and 2 for Windsor) and we only play 8 home league games in the Capital League.

dave here cold baby cold. i think the match will be on at stag meadow and feel we can pinch although there is a small riskm of snow on boxing day anytime in the south and mainly cold dry and sunny on monday. monday early on will be the test see you all monday
