We had one mad man this season in our second game at home starting on the players...never been seen since!

and yes back in the 80's we played Bournemouth with a larger crowd than you got your cup run but i cannot say how many as i wasn't even born then <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I was at that Wycombe game when people were on the hill, mainly people from the Wheatsheaf Pub who decided to leave about 12 minutes before kick off. I came with them lot, but being nimble and determined I jumped the fences, but i didn't see any trouble.

I also travelled all around the country during bits of our conferences days and the majority of the time enjoyed good banter with opposition supporters - i would say it was only places like Colchester where it wasn't too friendly.

Slough has always had a Chelsea following and some of these people aren't always the most pleasant (such as the stupid monkey chanting at the Yeading goalkeeper, which loads of people told them to shut up doing), but my dad and cousin live near the high street and according to them its a battle field most weekends.

If councillors want to play the hooligan card, we can remind them that we had nearly five thousand people for two FA Cup games and no trouble in or around the ground, with some Walsall fans saying we were the friendlist club they had ever visited.
