opened the back of the reporter today to see all the fleet news on the back page, ok maybe more inside.

bloody Millwall and Charlton and there supporting Fleet First campaign its a joke.

Millwall is nowhere near here, i understand about Charlton but still don't want them in it and Erith get rid of them and do just Gravesham football.

 

i will bve writing to them in the new year to complain about it and so should others.

Apparently for this week and next week they have 3 pages common to all their editions and one page specfic each separate paper.

 

Whether this is just because it is Christmas or whether it will continue remains to be seen.

Things should be back to normal from beginning of January, so I'm told. Two issues of combined Kentish Times area coverage, then back to normal Fleet coverage thereafter.

It is just for the next two weeks over the Xmas and New Year period in all our editions. Only the back pages are area specific which is why the back of the Gravesend Reporter was devoted entirely to Fleet this week and will next week as well with tow match reports from the Crawley and Accrington games.

 

Normal service on Fleet will be resumed in early January and I look forward to seeing you all at Stonebridge Road sometime in 2005.

I always find it better to actually know what I'm talking about before I start spouting off.

As it's Xmas time the Gravesend Reporter, Dartford and Swanley Messengers all come out in one edition - this happens every year.

The Reporter have done well with the Fleet First campaign and giving us decent coverage with regard to match reports and player interviews, to start slagging it off on here is unfair and misguided.
