the article in the slough observer ...is about the fact the council looked to Reading FC to stage a soccer school over the christmas period and they did not approach the mighty Slough Town about this stating that we have no faclities to stage a christmas school ! (not surprised) we have not, why because of the short sightedness of our dear Council....However we have now found out that the soccer schools will be held at Herschel school Slough !!

 

So why have the council not spoken with anyone at the club again ??? This was announced just after we had been beaten in the FA cup ...rubbing more salt into our already open wounds...

 

Thats what the article should have been about....the lack of respect that our football club gets again.....

Sliski my objection is about, and i quote

The article was good, just again shows how much attention they pay to us, getting our opponents wrong..

Yes, but why only the extended coverage during the FA Cup run then? The Express have seemed more concerned about stirring up trouble this season than trying to help us it seems.

Yes anon, i admit their coverage was good, however the second we are out of the FA Cup we dont even make it to the back page of the paper anymore... I do belive the big back page story in the midweek was of a might comeback by an asian (Sunday league equivalent) hockey team. No offence to them but we are still supposed to be slough's premier team...
