It is STRONGLY believed that Kinnear will be moving to PVR. Press comments by Welling Owner Graeme Hobbins tell of people being at another club. Ive looked at the Welling Message board and Welling wanted him before and im sure we will get him this time.

So Chris can you play a silly formation and give your new club 6 points. Cheers. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/icon_band222.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif" alt="" />

Wot-Roy Kinnear. He's dead, just like your chances of getting Chris. He's stated he's not going anywhere and these rumours are starting to smack of desperation on Welling fans behalf. Our coach Phil Handfords name is in the frame, along with Gravesends coach Adrian Pennock,ex-Gills coach Wayne Brown and Chathams manager-"flash" Clive Walker. .I know Chris lives close and he's non-league's best manager and he's stayed loyal throughout all the sh*t so why go when the good times are about to return.Get over it.

Having said that, good luck to Welling and here's hoping for a couple of good games with our first league double of the season, would be nice.

Can't really see why someone of CK's stature would want to go to Welling. Their potential is pretty limited. Part-time clubs can only go so far in the Conference proper (as Gravesend are discovering) and, as Welling are a smaller club than G&N, what could CK, or anyone else, achieve there? The Conference is a very different place to what it was even just a few years ago.

Also against them is their location. They will never attract big gates, there is so much competition in London.

I'm not saying Margate are a massive club, but we do have the hope of the new ground. If that comes off, it would attract new fans and players.
