Margate's formation

ALthough i do not doubt CK's ability as a manager, i personally feel that we should try the 4-4-2 formation more. It obviously works, as with it a depleted team managed to earn a point at Weymouth, and we could have nicked it!

What do you think?

We all have our personal views on the best team ,but for what its worth ,following from HG's post above, i don't see how Gradleys return changes anything since to me he should replace Alex.(have to say that Alex was pretty good on saturday and on that performance it would be a close run thing as to whether Alex or PB gets the fourth midfield slot in our fictional 4-4-2 formation).Gradley does give a tag more height zand also adds a bit more to the defence.

Also have to say that with respect, on current form, that Barnett and Smith are some way ahead of Bill in my pecking order.

Interesting one comes when club captain Annon is fit. !!

Imo Barnett and Smith are ahead of Annon in the pecking order, but would add that i have always been impressed with Annons distribution-he tries and often succeeds to get the ball out of defence to someone in a margate shirt which has not always been the case with some others and does have its benefits!!

Maybe at away games, Annon should play a defensive midfield role just in front of the back FOUR
