You could always rely on the Evening Echo to get things wrong.

 

On the back row - 3 is John Oxley, 7 is Bill Broomfield and 8 is Dave Neville. I am pretty sure 5 is Tony Mackie but 6, I can't recall.

 

On the front row - 4 is Dave Lawrence and 7 is Denis Gibbs (father of Nigel at Watford).

 

OK, so I am 93 next birthday. Great memories, Rob.

The proper caption should have been:
