I would like to no how you get trails with clubs. I understnad the big clubs send round scouts to look for players. i have bin told that clubs lowwer dwn in leagues have a day where its open to any1 for the club to see if they are good enough to play. Im nt sure if this is true or nt bt i would like to try and find out.

I was wonderin if any1 could shed any light on this.

No im only 16 bt i want to know because i play football regularly. It would be good to know what happens with the clubs so that if it is possible or not.

dave here i have been watching slough for many years and a supporter and programe seller and never played for slough and hardly missed any games since the early nineties as a suporter.

Only senior, first team and a reserve team which play in the Capital League on Wednesday evenings.

 

I am sure with more regular support from youth teams and players from in and around Slough, a return to the borough can be arranged so that this could be expanded to cover the junior football age ranges also.

Depends on what previous experience you've had. The Capital League matches give an opportunity for players to 'showcase' themselves to clubs to stake a claim for a place at the club.

Well im only 16 so i have only played for a sunday league team. Although i played for district which i captained and i also have apparently brentford scout watch me and a reading scout 2.would that count for anything??

Carry on playing in your sunday league team,aim to become the best player they have,if you already are,then how about the best in the league you play.Play and enjoy your football and in the meantime visit your local club to see how high the standards really are.Good luck
